Frame Assembly Overview

Build the core frame before moving on to motion components and electronics.

Quick checklist

  • [x] All extrusions accounted for.
  • [x] Rails and hardware sorted by step.
  • [x] Tools ready (hex keys, square, threadlocker).
  • [x] Panel T-Nut Rollins ready to install in frame.

tip "Alignment first" - Snug fasteners only until the frame is square. Final torque comes after all extrusions are in.

tip "Threadlocker" - Add a small amount of threadlocker to all M5x16 frame bolts.

Step 4 – Slide in upper and lower mid frame

Step 5 – Preinstall right y rail extrusion

Step 5 – Preinstall right y rail extrusion

Step 6 – Install inner panel

Preinstall the T-Nut Rollins in the extrusions before fitting the inner panel.

Step 6 – Install inner panel

Step 7 – Install front electronics panel

Step 7 – Install front electronics panel

Step 8 – Install corner extrusions

Step 8 – Install corner extrusions

Step 9 – Install lower electronics panel and bottom extrusion

Preinstall the T-Nut Rollins in the extrusions before fitting the lower electronics panel.

Step 9 – Install lower electronics panel and bottom extrusion

Step 10 – Angle inner electronics panel and slide extrusion in place

Step 10 – Angle inner electronics panel and slide extrusion in place

Step 11 – Install final corner
